The University of Cape Coast has unveiled an ultra-modern electronic library (e-library) at Adehye Hall. This state-of-the-art facility, which accommodates 30 users, is set to provide students with invaluable hands-on experience in Information Technology (IT) skills, broadening their knowledge in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Dr. Mac-Anthony Cobblah, the University of Cape Coast Librarian, officially inaugurated the e-library, describing it as a knowledge-based center. He praised the Hall Council and the student leadership for their role in realizing this project. Dr. Cobblah expressed optimism that the e-library would equip students with essential modern ICT skills, vital for their academic and professional growth.
Highlighting the long-term benefits, Dr. Cobblah emphasized that the e-library represents a forward-thinking investment into the future of current and prospective students of Adehye Hall. He urged residents to utilize the facility to its fullest potential and to ensure its upkeep for the benefit of future generations.
In a gesture of support, Dr. Cobblah, on behalf of the Sam Jonah Library, committed to donating a television to the e-library, further enhancing its resources.
