The National Teaching Council (NTC) has officially released the schedule for the upcoming Mandatory Induction Training for all Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) undergoing National Service across the country. This critical exercise forms part of the NTC’s mission to smoothly integrate new teachers into the professional teaching landscape.
As part of the induction process, the training aims to provide NQTs with essential knowledge, skills, and professional expectations required during their national service and eventual recruitment into the Ghana Education Service (GES) as in-service teachers.
The training sessions will be conducted regionally at designated Colleges of Education and selected senior high schools, starting from 23rd June 2025 to 18th July 2025. It is mandatory for all NQTs to attend the sessions at their assigned centers based on their region of placement.
