The Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service, Free Senior High School Secretariat and Computerized School Selection and Placement System, have opened the 21st century STEM School Selection Portal.
The portal gives access to the list of new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Senior High Schools included in the School Selection and placement process for BECE students.
It also provides information on available STEM programs and their career pathways.
The portal further gives details of existing Senior High Schools that offers STEM programs in the country.
Students with an interest in pursuing strictly STEM programs are encouraged to visit stem-ssp.com.gh to select their preferred schools and corresponding programs.
It is however worth noting that, the choices made using this portal will take precedence over initial school selection by students.

- Click ‘register here’
- Enter the details below;
- First name
- Last name
- School index number
- Active phone number
- Preferred password
- Click ‘register’.
Steps to login to STEM School Selection Portal to select schools
- Visit stem-ssp.com.gh
- Click ‘start selection’
- Input student ID (phone number or email) used during the registration
- Enter your password
- Click ‘login’
- Select your preferred school(s)
