UCC graduates 1,868 students who pursued 5-semester programmes in Education

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) celebrated the achievements of 1,868 graduates who successfully completed their five-semester programmes in education at the Institute of Education of the College of Education Studies. The culmination of their hard work was marked at the 11th Session of the 56th Congregation, where they were honored for their dedication and commitment to their studies.

UCC Graduation Ceremony-

Among these graduates, there were notable distinctions in academic performance. A total of 283 students graduated with first-class honors, highlighting their exceptional academic prowess. Following closely behind were 1,133 graduates with second-class upper honors, demonstrating their strong grasp of their chosen fields. Additionally, 396 students achieved second-class lower honors, while 53 earned third-class honors. Three students were awarded passes for their efforts.

However, one student stood out among the rest. Mr. Ernest Lucien-Marc, hailing from the Wise Educational Complex in Sunyani, was recognized as the overall best student. With a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.941, Mr. Lucien-Marc’s outstanding academic performance earned him prestigious accolades. He was presented with a laptop, an undisclosed cash prize, and a plaque in recognition of his remarkable achievement.
