The University of Cape Coast is gearing up for the commencement of the First Semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, and both staff and students, as well as the general public, are urged to take note of the following important arrangements.
Registration of Courses
- Online registration of courses for continuing students kicks off on Monday, 13th November, 2023, and concludes on Friday, 22nd December, 2023.
- Fresh Students admitted at Levels 200 and above will engage in online course registration from Monday, 27th November, 2023, to Friday, 12th January, 2024.
- Online registration of courses for Fresh Students at Level 100 is scheduled to occur from Wednesday, 10th January, to Sunday, 13th January, 2024.
- It is crucial to note that registration will not be permitted after the specified deadlines, and Departmental Registration/Examination Officers (DREOs) are expected to have all courses mounted before the registration commencement dates.
Arrival of Students
- Continuing and Fresh Students admitted at Level 200 and above are expected to report on Saturday, 25th November, 2023.
- Fresh Students at Level 100 are required to report on Saturday, 6th January, 2024.
On-Campus Registration of Courses
- Students encountering difficulties with registration can seek assistance from the Students Records Section during the registration period.
Lectures/Payment of Fees
- For Continuing Students:
- Lectures for students of Level 200 and above are set to commence on Monday, 4th December, 2023.
- All continuing students with outstanding fees must settle the fees in full, including arrears, before registration.
- Continuing students are advised to check their portals for the 2023/2024 fee status.
- For Level 100 Students:
- Lectures for Level 100 courses will begin on Monday, 15th January, 2024.
Orientation/Matriculation
- Orientation for fresh students is scheduled for Monday, 8th January, and Tuesday, 9th January, 2024.
- Matriculation will take place on Saturday, 27th January, 2024.
