The West African Examinations Council Attestation of Results is available to candidates whose certificates have been misplaced or damaged as the WAEC does not issue duplicate certificates.
The attestation of result is as valid as the certificate and are issued to individual candidates or persons for their possession. The Attestation must be collected personally by applicants from the offices of the Council in Accra or the regions.

- Visit the WAEC Attestation of Results portal HERE
- Fill in the data requested
- Surname
- Other names
- Email address
- Phone number
- Contact address
- Index number
- Collection centre
- Examination
- Examination year
- Upload passport-sized photograph
- Upload one of any of the following identification document
- National Identification Card
- Passport
- Voter’s I.D
- Driver’s License
- Submit and proceed to make payment

Note: The payment amount is GH¢400.00 and it is subject to review by the council. Again, identification document to be uploaded in step 4 should a maximum size of 50kb.

I apply for attestation for the past 3 weeks and I’m yet to receive it, this is not the best customer service. According to you guys it should take one week and up till now Its still not in for collection. If what I’m supposed to used it for has elapsed what then is the purpose for it. This very sad
