In a recent announcement by Primetime Limited, the organizers of the National Science & Maths Quiz, an update regarding the schedule for the highly-anticipated Grand Finale of the 2023 edition has been made. This decision reflects a deep sense of respect and tradition, paying homage to the late Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru III.
The Grand Finale, originally set for Tuesday, October 24, will now be held on Tuesday, October 31. The venue remains the National Theatre in Accra.
Primetime Limited in a communique sighted by GESHub said it wishes to express its heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, Ga Mantse, Niimei, Naamei, and the entire Ga State during this time of mourning.
This postponement is a mark of respect to commemorate the passing of the late Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru III, and the organizers hope that her soul may forever rest in peace.
The National Science & Maths Quiz, often abbreviated as NSMQ, holds a special place in Ghana’s educational landscape. It is an annual competition that not only fosters intellectual growth but also promotes the study of science and mathematics among students in Senior High Schools.
