In a heartwarming display of academic prowess and dedication, female graduates at UPSA outshone their counterparts by clinching a remarkable 25 out of the 39 academic prizes earmarked for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The graduation ceremonies took place from October 17th to 20th and saw a total of 4,746 students receiving their hard-earned degrees.
The congregation ceremonies not only celebrated the sheer number of graduates but also spotlighted the exceptional achievements of outstanding students from various faculties and schools within the university.
These outstanding individuals demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence, setting an example for their peers and future generations.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the recognition of Dilys Nana Fosu-Hemaa Ohenebeng, an MPhil Finance graduate, who was adjudged the Overall Best Graduating Graduate Student in the two-year program.
Another shining star of the event was Margaret Kontoh-Banahene, a graduate in brands and communications. She deservedly took home the award for the one-year program, highlighting her expertise and passion for the field.
At the undergraduate level, Gideon Bempoh, a BSc in accounting and finance student, claimed the prestigious title of Overall Best Graduating Undergraduate.
Last but certainly not least, Rebecca Oppong distinguished herself as the Overall Best Graduating Diploma Student.
