The aftermath of the release of this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has been marked by eager anticipation and excitement.
Candidates eagerly await the release of their Senior High School placements, as the official Ghana Education Service (GES) academic calendar for 2023/2024 is set to kick off on December 4, 2023.
To facilitate the process, the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and the Free Senior High School Secretariat, has made available school placement checker vouchers.
These vouchers are essential for candidates to check the schools they have been placed in once the school placement results are released.
The burning question on everyone’s mind is, “Is the Computerized School Selection and Placement (CSSPS) portal live?” The straightforward answer at this moment is a resounding NO.
As of the time of publishing this blog post, the CSSPS portal is not yet active. However, assurances have been given by the Ministry of Education, GES, and the Free SHS secretariat that the portal will go live soon.
In the meantime, candidates, parents, stakeholders, and the general public are urged to remain patient and calm. Final preparations are underway to ensure a seamless and efficient launch of the CSSPS portal.
Once live, the portal will provide the means for students to check the schools they have been placed in, initiating the next chapter of their educational journey.
The commitment of the Ministry of Education, GES, and the Free SHS secretariat ensures that the process will be expedited, allowing candidates to access their school placements without unnecessary delays.
Stay tuned for further updates as we eagerly await the activation of the Computerized School Selection and Placement (CSSPS) portal.
