The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), has successfully absorbed Savannah College of Education into the public college system. This move highlights the government’s commitment to expanding access to quality teacher training and strengthening the nation’s educational framework.

The absorption of Savannah College of Education follows a thorough review and due diligence process. Having met all the necessary requirements, the institution has transitioned from a private entity to a fully recognized public College of Education. As a result, the college will now function under the governance and funding framework of the public tertiary education system, benefiting from enhanced state resources and support.
