In a momentous ceremony held in Accra, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, unveiled the freshly constituted members of the Governing Council of the esteemed University of Cape Coast (UCC).

At the helm of the reconstituted Governing Council stands Rev. Prof. Harold Amonoo-Kuofi, bringing with him a wealth of experience and dedication. Accompanying him are esteemed members including;
- Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, Vice-Chancellor
- Most Rev. Titus Awotwi Pratt
- DCOP Patrick Adusei Sarpong (rtd)
- Dr. Maame Adwoa Gyekye-Jandoh – President’s Nominees.
