This innovative initiative, launched in collaboration with Zaacoal, aims to equip participants with hands-on skills in sustainable energy production, waste recycling, and green entrepreneurship.

About the Program
The Youth in Sustainable Charcoal Production Program is designed to train youth in the conversion of organic waste materials into biochar, a clean and eco-friendly alternative to traditional charcoal. The training covers how to process:
- Coconut husks
- Corn cobs
- Rice husks
- Other agricultural waste
By the end of the program, participants will have the knowledge and support to launch small-scale biochar enterprises, contributing to climate resilience, clean energy, and economic empowerment.

The 2025 recruitment is specifically open to:

✅ Residents of the Greater Accra Region
