The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is reminding all eligible applicants that the application deadline for the Youth in Sustainable Charcoal Production Program is fast approaching. The final day to submit applications is:

This program offers young people in Greater Accra the opportunity to receive hands-on training in converting agricultural waste into eco-friendly charcoal, also known as biochar. It’s a practical and forward-looking initiative aimed at empowering Ghanaian youth with green skills for sustainable business ventures.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete their registration before the closing date. Late applications will not be accepted, and there will be no extensions.
Participants will learn to turn these materials into biochar, a clean and pollution-free alternative to traditional charcoal. The training is designed to empower youth to start environmentally-friendly businesses that reduce deforestation and promote sustainability.
Location
This training program is available only to youth who live within the Greater Accra Region. If you’re outside the region, stay tuned for future opportunities in other parts of the country.
