The 9th Ghana Universities Debate Championship was nothing short of a remarkable success for KNUST, as they secured the top positions and added another trophy to their impressive collection.
Out of the four teams that made it to the finals, KNUST boasted an incredible three teams, highlighting their exceptional talent and dedication.
Ultimately, they clinched the coveted National Trophy, along with securing the 2nd and 3rd place positions. Their achievements did not stop there, as they also claimed victory in the Novice category.
The main trophy was deservedly won by the dynamic duo of Master Kojo Opoku Acheampong and Furgurson Awuni, who demonstrated their exceptional debating skills and intellectual prowess throughout the championship.
In the Novice category, it was Jesse Ntiri and Matthew Agyapong who shone brightly, highlighting the promising future of debate at KNUST.
With this incredible victory, KNUST has solidified its position as a true powerhouse in the Ghana Universities Debate Championship. They now hold an impressive record of six championships, having previously won in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and now in 2022 and 2023.
