In recent times, the issue of responsiveness and accountability in the Ghanaian education sector has been brought to the forefront by Africa Education Watch. According to their Open Governance Report III, which examined the communication practices of 16 public universities in the country, only seven universities responded to test inquiry phone calls placed to their official telephone lines.
This lack of response raises concerns about the commitment of some education sector institutions to public service. However, amidst this worrisome trend, there are institutions that stand out for their prompt and attentive communication.
